JOWAR KHICHDI

INGREDIENTS:

PREPARATION METHOD: ​

  • Wash and soak jowar for 8-10 hours at least overnight.
  • Once soaked, pressure cook it for 5-6 whistles.
  • In the pan, add oil and all the spices; add onions and garlic and cook for 20-30 minutes.
  • Next, add vegetables and tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes .
  • Now add jowar, salt, and water and cook for 10-12 minutes till the pulao is ready.
