JOWAR KHICHDI
INGREDIENTS:
Broken Jowar – 100 gms Carrots – 50gms Chopped Beans – 50 gms Tomato – 50gms Chopped Onion – 100 gms Oil – 5 ml Cloves of Garlic Water – 400-700 ml Salt- As per taste
PREPARATION METHOD:
Wash and soak jowar for 8-10 hours at least overnight.
Once soaked, pressure cook it for 5-6 whistles.
In the pan, add oil and all the spices; add onions and garlic and cook for 20-30 minutes.
Next, add vegetables and tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes .
Now add jowar, salt, and water and cook for 10-12 minutes till the pulao is ready.
